Brisket Rub:
Mix together in a Sealed Jar the following:- 3 Tbsp freshly ground black pepper
- 2 Tbsp kosher salt or sea salt
- 2 Tbsp chili powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp dried parsley
- 2 tsp oregano
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
Over the last few months I have become a fan of the new McCormick Grill Mates and have started adding the following to the above to make an even better rub
- 2 Tbsp Grill Mates® Roasted Garlic & Herb
- 2 Tbsp Grill Mates® Chipotle & Roasted Garlic Seasoning
- 2 Tbsp Grill Mates® Steakhouse Onion Burger Seasoning
Place all into a jar and shake, is good for a 7-8 LB brisket to smoke for 6 hrs
